Sandoval is Keynote Speaker at Morton College

CICERO, ILLINOIS – Last Friday, State Senator Martin A. Sandoval (D-11) was the keynote speaker for the graduates at Morton College, at 3801 S. Central Ave.

"We are the New Americans and will continue to shape the future of Cicero, Illinois and "Our" Country,” Senator Sandoval told the graduating class of 2017.

Approximately 1500 people were in attendance, of those 419 graduated.

Morton College, the second oldest community college in Illinois, was founded in 1924 to meet the educational demands in the growing communities of Berwyn, Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, McCook, Stickney and other near-western suburbs.

Senator Sandoval represents the 11th Senate District, which includes West Cook municipalities of Berwyn, Burbank, Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, McCook, Stickney and Summit.
